“Slush’s international atmosphere is a great fit for our export brands,” says Juha-Matti Korvola, who is in charge of planning events at Hartwall.
Hartwall’s brands have been received well by Slush’s organisers and its international participants, who travel to Finland to take part in this unique event to network with other influencers, startups and investors in the field of technology.
“Original Long Drink and Lapin Kulta are well liked by international visitors. Everyone wants to sample the local beer and Original Long Drink, which is a Finnish specialty,” says Korvola.
This year, Slush focuses specifically on two themes: science and mobility. Participants will also be kept busy by Slush’s numerous side events. One of these events is Slush Music, first organised in 2016, that focuses on startups in the music industry. Slush Music will be held on 28–29 November in Helsinki’s Kaapelitehdas.
“At Slush Music, people working in the music industry will get to party after work at the Lapin Kulta Band Jam. If you’re looking for new social experiences in music, then you should head over to the Lapin Kulta Lounge and enter your own music profile into the Musimap App. The app lets you know which participants share your taste in music and brings like-minded people together to discuss music over a refreshing full-malt beer,” says Korvola.
Slush: 30 Nov–1 Dec 2017 in Messukeskus, Helsinki.
